Recently, my boss Shannon decided that it was time for him to move on to greener pastures. He chose Oklahoma... exactly- do people even live there? Aside from the musical, can anyone even tell me anything about Oklahoma? Including where it's located...? I didn't think so! Anyways, as a farewell gift, Scott and I volunteered to watch his 5 little ones so he and his wife could enjoy a night off. They have 4 girls and one boy who are all adorable. They were fun to watch, but even more entertaining to listen too. Here are some quotes of the night...
Preston, age 4: "Why are you so small and your dad is so big?"
Me: "Do you mean my husband?"
Preston: "What" with a quizzical look on his face before he walked away...
Brinley, age 6: "Do you and Scott live at the same place?"
Me: "Yes, we're married"
Brinley: (after a long pause to think) "So does he see you get out of the shower?"
Me: Silence, but a scared/confused look on my face...
Brinley: "Do you shower together? Because sometimes my mom and dad do."
Me: Still silent, but now holding back laughter...
All in all, it was a fun and informative night. We found out later that Brinley had a knack for telling neighbors much more than they needed to know... Haha... I can only imagine the conversations!

Just A Taste of What's To Come...
This blog is a chance to give you a little taste of our life... Since both Scott and I have failed at attempts to keep up blogs of our own, I hope that a combined effort will endure. Only time will tell...
We have now been married for over a month! Weird! And wonderful! Were married on Jan. 2nd in the Newport Beach Temple and had a reception at the Arroyo Trabuco County Club- shout out to Tadonna (my mom) for all her hard work on
that! It was great :)
We then headed off to the Mexican Riviera for a week long (and much needed) cruise! Scott planned our honeymoon as a surprise- what a stud!
Well, I will make this short, but will post a few pics for those of you who haven't seen them- enjoy!
